The organisation
The Southern Riverina Hunting Club was founded in 1998 in the Mulwala area. The club is an approved hunting organisation under the NSW Department of Primary Industries, affiliated with the Federation of Hunting Clubs. SRHC runs organised hunting drives across properties in far southern NSW and provides $20 million in public liability insurance for members while hunting.
The challenge
Every member needs a legitimate reason for their firearms licence — the club's approved status provides that justification, making accurate membership records a legal requirement. Twenty-seven membership levels handle the complexity. Insurance compliance requires knowing exactly who is a current financial member at any time.
How TidyHQ helped
TidyHQ has been the SRHC's platform for over eight years. The 27 membership levels handle automated renewals that ensure no member's financial status lapses. The shop processes merchandise and event registrations. Zoom supports committee meetings across a dispersed membership. Document storage holds constitution, code of ethics, safety guidelines, and property access agreements.
The outcome
Since implementing TidyHQ, Southern Riverina Hunting Club has fundamentally changed how they operate.
- 8+ — years running on TidyHQ
- 27 — membership levels for a complex hunting organisation
- $20M — public liability insurance requiring accurate member records
Membership management and communications run from one place. The right message reaches the right members without the committee maintaining separate mailing lists.
