Voice & Tone
How we write
Our voice is confident but not arrogant. We speak the language of community organisations β their vocabulary, their problems, their outcomes.

Do

Donβt

Specific, not generic

Do
βTrack which members are financial and who's lapsed.β
Donβt
βLeverage powerful analytics to drive engagement metrics.β
Outcomes, not features
Our customers care about getting their Sundays back, not our feature list.
Do
βStop chasing unpaid renewals by text message.β
Donβt
βAutomated payment reminders with customisable templates.β
Industry vocabulary
Use the language your customers use. It signals domain expertise.
Forbidden words
Never use these. Theyβre generic, overused, and say nothing specific about TidyHQ.

TidyHQ is membership management software built for community organisations. Since 2008, we've helped clubs, associations, and non-profits across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States manage their members, money, and meetings from a single platform. From a local football club tracking 200 members to a state sporting body coordinating 400 affiliated clubs through TidyConnect, we build the admin layer that lets volunteers spend less time on spreadsheets and more time on what matters. Over 4,200 organisations trust TidyHQ to manage 1.2 million members.
