The organisation
The North East Victoria Hang Gliding Club (NEVHGC) manages Mystic Mountain, widely regarded as the best paragliding launch in the southern hemisphere. Located just outside Bright at 797 metres above sea level, Mystic has hosted Paragliding World Cup events in 1998 and 2018. The club oversees five launch sites where pilots fly cross-country routes through the Ovens and Kiewa valleys.
The challenge
