Stop members joining twice by mistake
You can stop someone registering a second membership at a level they already hold. That is the renewal mix-up behind most duplicate records.
A contact can hold several memberships at once, which is genuinely useful when somebody is a player and a coach. The side effect is that a member who meant to renew sometimes signs up all over again, and you find out in April when the numbers refuse to add up.
There is an option to prevent it now. To turn it on for a level, uncheck Allow Multiple in that level’s settings.
