Finally: Membership and Accounting in Sync
We are pleased to announce the native integration between TidyHQ and Xero. Membership invoices, payments, and contact records now sync automatically between the two platforms.
This is the integration our clubs have asked for most. About 60% of Australian nonprofits use Xero. Until now, connecting membership management to accounting required manual data entry or third-party connectors.
What Changes for Your Treasurer
Before: Create an invoice in TidyHQ. Create the same invoice in Xero. Wait for payment. Check the bank. Mark paid in both systems. Reconcile manually.
After: Create an invoice in TidyHQ. It appears in Xero. Payment arrives. Both systems update. Done.
The typical club treasurer saves 5-10 hours per month. During renewal season, significantly more.
How to Set It Up
Go to Settings, Integrations, Xero in your TidyHQ account. Click Connect. Authorise in Xero. Map your income accounts. Enable sync.
Setup takes 15 minutes. The integration runs continuously from that point.
GST and Compliance
GST is handled automatically. Invoices sync with the correct tax treatment. BAS preparation uses accurate, up-to-date data. ACNC financial reporting is cleaner because the source data is consistent.
Available Now
The Xero integration is available on all TidyHQ plans at no additional cost. If your club uses Xero, connect today. Your treasurer will appreciate it.
