The organisation
Wodonga Raiders Sports Club traces its roots to the Kergunyah Football Club, founded in 1923. After relocating to Wodonga in 1976, the club built Birallee Park from scratch with volunteer labour and entered the Ovens & Murray Football Netball League in 1989. Today the Raiders are a genuine multi-sport hub — fielding football and netball sides in the O&M League, running a cricket club in Cricket Albury Wodonga, and operating a social club that hosts community events year-round on the Victorian-NSW border.
