Wodonga Football and Sports Club Inc
“From the first recorded match against Albury in 1878 to developing Jack Ziebell, Elijah Hollands, and Oliver Hollands for the AFL — the Bulldogs have been border football for nearly 150 years.”
Club Administrator, Club Secretary
The organisation
The Wodonga Bulldogs are the oldest football club on the Victoria-New South Wales border, with their first recorded match played against Albury FC on 6 July 1878. The club holds seven senior OMFL premierships. The Bulldogs' development pathway has produced AFL talent including Jack Ziebell (280 games, North Melbourne captain) and brothers Elijah and Oliver Hollands (both drafted to Carlton).
The challenge
A border-town club draws members from both Victoria and New South Wales. Twenty-three membership levels cover senior and reserve football, netball, juniors, social members, and sponsors. The committee tracks player development from Auskick to senior footy.
How TidyHQ helped
TidyHQ has anchored the Bulldogs' operations for over 6 years. Twenty-three membership levels process through a single system. Mailchimp syncs contacts across state lines. Google Analytics gives digital visibility. Events, meetings, and documents round out the operation.
The outcome
Since implementing TidyHQ, Wodonga Football and Sports Club Inc has fundamentally changed how they operate.
- 6+ — years running on TidyHQ
- 23 — membership levels managed
- 3 — AFL players developed through the pathway
Members renew online and register for events through the same platform. The committee spends less time on logistics and more time building the community.
