Mt Gravatt AFC

The Mt Gravatt Australian Football Club — the Vultures — was founded in 1964. The club competes in the QAFL and has won six premierships including flags in 2002 and 2007. The club's growth story is its women's program: from just two female players in 2014 to over 120 by 2019, culminating in a QFAW Premiership in 2025. The Vultures now field teams across men's seniors, women's seniors, masters, wheelchair football, and a full junior pathway. Eighteen former Vultures have gone on to play AFL.

A QAFL club that runs men's, women's, masters, wheelchair, and junior programs is not one club — it is five clubs sharing one ground. Twenty-eight membership categories cover senior players, junior registrations, social members, volunteer parents, and sponsors. Communications need to reach parents of AusKick kids with different information than senior men's players.
