Keep an event visible to certain groups only
A new Visible To setting keeps an event to the groups you choose, so a members-only event stops publishing somebody’s home address to the internet.
Sometimes the venue or the organiser’s mobile number is not something you want on a public page. A junior training session. A committee meeting at somebody’s house.
Events have a Visible To option in their settings now. An event can be public, as every event was before, or visible to one or more groups, the same way memberships, web pages and shop items already work.
This was one of the most requested things on our feedback board, and fair enough.
