Archive groups without losing their history
Retire a group you have finished with instead of deleting it. The history stays, Smart Groups keep working, and your email screens get a lot shorter.
Every club collects groups like a shed collects paint tins. The 2019 committee. The working party for the clubhouse extension. The under-14s from a season when there were enough kids for an under-14s. Delete them and you lose the record of who did what. Keep them and every screen where you pick a group turns into a scroll.
You can archive a group now. It stays there for the historical record and keeps working in Smart Groups, but it stops turning up when you are sending an email or editing a contact.
Archived groups get their own view, you can bring one back the moment you need it, and if you have a decade of them there is a bulk action that archives everything with no activity in the past year. Start there.
